A really versatile media player/recorder with the added advantage of Wifi and Web browsing. There’s loads of info on the net about these (see www.archos.com or indeed search eBay!) so I’ll not repeat the whole spec here. I’ve only ever listened to music, watched movies, shown holiday snaps to people and done a bit of surfing. It can do loads more. I’ve just upgraded to a larger screen and can’t justify keeping both.

This is in good clean condition. There’s a very small dent on rear panel. You have to look for it though. It has no effect on performance. Screen is good too with no scratches and no dead pixels that I’ve noticed in normal operation. WiFi works all over my three story house and garden. Picks up the neighbour’s too!
Has the latest firmware and two plugins. Apparently there are Flash Games onboard too but I’ve never played them. I’m going to remove all my personal photos etc but I’ll leave some albums and movies so you can see it works out of the box. Forget the enclosed earphones (no one ever uses the supplied ones!) and get some good earphones as the audio is great. I can’t say how long the battery actually lasts but I have watched two movies on a single charge. Not too sure about manufacturer's battery life claims! It will probably last longer if you turn the backlight down. I usually charge it on the DVR station as it is quicker than the USB lead from a PC.
DVR Station
I’ve not really explored all the features of this but I have connected it to a VHS recorder and converted some old family films to digital. Great connectivity with supplied leads and adapters. Can even be used as a digital video recorder using you TV as a tuner.
