It is clearly shown as being of the King of Spain, Alfonso XIII. Clearly inscribed in red are the words Exlibris Alfonso XIII as part of the illustration, but it is the writing underneath that holds the uniquness. It appears to be signed, in pencil "Tu Frederick Brown - A DeRiquer". The signature looks authentic and I've tried very hard to get it verified but as soon as certain dealers saw it, their little eyes lit up, they took a sharp intake of breath and just hummed and haard! It also has, in pencil, "Eau Forte en couleurs - 4 conivreg"(?) (High Water Colour(?)).It measures the frame) 11 x 8.5 inches (28 x 22 cm) and the image itself is 9 x 6 inches (23 x 15 cm). Here's a short blurb that I've borrowed from the prestigious gaudiallgaudi.com website:
Alexandre de Riquer’s bookplates are miniature artworks; in Catalonia, the association between Alexandre de Riquer and bookplates is unavoidable.
Riquer not only introduced the art of the bookplate into Catalonia, but also was the first both to promote it through publications such as Luz (1898) and Joventut (1900) and to dignify it with engravings.
Riquer was the first Catalan artist to publish a book of bookplates (1903) that catalogued his work up to that point. The prestigious Art Nouveau artist Miquel Utrillo wrote the preface.
