This exquisite, miniature,silver enamel brooch/pin was made by F A Hermann & co of Attleborough, Massachusetts.This company manufactured exquisite enamelled jewellery during the Edwardian and Art Deco periods.
This sweet pin measures 3.1cms across and is 1.3cms wide. The pin has a delicate, open bordered design on an octagonal shape. The centre is enamelled in white with fine lined detail beneath the enamel. At the centre are three oranges with tiny green leaves. The border is in china blue , punctuated by white decorative lives. The effect is totally charming!
On the back is an old style, tubular c clasp. The back is inscribed sterling with a H in a triangle. This is the mark of FA Hermann & co.
The enamelling on this lovely pin is all intact.It comes to you tissue wrapped in a gift box.
