Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing. Here is a cable operated Grolin Gas Gauge from a Packard of about 1924 to 1928 (?). I thought it might be Series 80 Pierce Arrow, but is has the characteristic Packard sculpted bezel like the other instruments on the dash. This condition is excellent, almost NOS. If these sit in the sun for any length of time, paint peels from the dial. This one is perfect. It must be an early take-off. This is for a 20 or 22 gallon gas tank. The mechanism works perfectly. The wrinkly pot metal is behind the dash. The plating itself is not bad on the fancy sculpted bezel. Grolin gas gauges fit several cars including model L Lincoln, Buick, Peerless and perhaps series 80 Pierce Arrow. Difficult to find. It would be of interested of collectors of Classic Cars from the 1920s and 1930s like Pierce Arrow, Packard, and Lincoln.
