From about 1942, a SHEAFFER LIFETIME VALIANT balance pen in brown pearl and with the military style over-the-top clip. The pen is a plunger filler and it is currently frozen in nearly the fully closed position (pulls out about 1/4"). The system will need cleaned and resealed before it will take up ink. The gold filled trim has no noted brassing, but is thinning a little on the back edge. The plastic is in flawless condition. The clip has a three pinpoint sized dents on the front surface..minor and not really visible in the cap photo. Section and feed are clean. The two tone 14kt SHEAFFER LIFETIME nib looks like a medium, is quite firm, straight and with good iridium.
