ANTIQUE GENTLEMAN'S SILVER CENTRE SECONDS POCKET WATCH
A nice Silver Cased Centre Seconds Pocket Watch, in good condition and in working order.
Case:
The silver case is in good condition, but does have several small indents to the rear. It is hallmarked with the "925"silver mark, the London town import mark, the case maker’s initials "W&H" and the date letter "c” for 1918/19.
The case inner cuvette is nicely engraved with a presentation inscription of Railway Interest (see photo):
"Presented to E R R Greenstreet by Sheerness Rly (railway) Staff and Associates on his retirement 1st May 1934"
Movement:
The movement is in working order. It is stem wound and set. .
Dial:
The white enamel dial is in good condition. The glass has some very minor chips on the edge, barely noticeable.
Dimensions:
The watch measures approximately 52 mm in diameter (measured across the outer case, excluding stem and bow ring).
