Superb vintage brooch by the one and only SPHINX - doesn't have the maker's name but it does have the SPHINX registration number - A967.
Red, marble effect glass stones, highlighted with ruby and purple crystals and set into a very decorative antique style base.
Vintage condition is good - it's a nice, clean piece - there has been a tiny mend to the very top of the brooch and a reglue to one purple crystal which has sunk slightly as a result. I've taken the photo as near as possible and as you can see it's just stunning and the wear and tear is hardly visible.
Measures approx:- 8 cms long x 4.5 cms wide/3 inches long x one and a half inches wide.
