Stunning and very unusual handbag - brown / tan / amber stripy Lucite plastic - Tiger Eye style - by famous designers Tyrolean New York. Metal lid with filigree carving. Button snap fastener which hols securely, single handlem filigree metal bands around the body, shaped ends - very Art Deco - sits on 4 little metal feet, inside lid is a full mirror, interior is clean and odour free. Tyrolean sticker is present an in good condition - please see all photos.
This lovely handbag measures - height - 3.5 inches plus 5 inch handle, 8 inches long and 4.5 inches wide.
Good vintage condition but not perfect! Look at the photos - there is some damage - there are light scratches all over - the metal pieces show tarnish, the tarnich did not photograph well, but the lid is quite dll and would benefit from a deep clean! there is a crack on the right hand panel close to the lid - see last 2 pics, about 0.75 inch long - it does not affect the bags usage, still secure and very usable. However, if you collect perfect pieces this is not for you - this handbag is still a beautiful item and with a low start price....
